PTA

The Rosary School’s Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) organises fun events for parents and children, as well as raising valuable funds for the school.

All parents and carers of children at the Rosary School, as well as school staff, automatically become members of the PTA. How much you may want to become involved depends on you: even a small effort occasionally can lead to fantastic results and helps build a sense of community!

The main function of the PTA is to raise funds for the school and our children, and in doing so we organise a wide variety of fun and social events! The money raised from these events is used to really enhance the children’s education and enjoyment at school. The PTA has in the past provided money for a new PA system, raised funds to help redevelop the school garden, install play equipment on the field and a ‘pavillion’ in the playground. More recently the PTA has contributed towards the cost of new curtains in the school hall, which enables the hall to be blacked out for dramatic productions.

If you would like to know more about the work of the PTA, and/or might be able to provide us with some support, please contact the Chair Carmel Ponsford via chair.ptarosary@gmail.com or drop a note in our post box outside the school office.
