St Dominic's Catholic Primary School support

The Headteacher of  St Dominic's Catholic Primary School, Mrs Jacqui Sollars, has to go in to hospital for a major operation after half term. The Governors of St Dominic's School have approached the Governors of the Rosary School to ask for support while Mrs Sollars is recovering. With the agreement of the Governing Body, Mrs Savory will be providing this support as interim Executive Headteacher. She will be sharing her time between the Rosary School and St Dominic's  during the second half of the Summer term, but will still be available to parents of the Rosary School on a daily basis - St Dominic's is in Woodchester, so the schools are not far apart! Mrs Savory will attend special events and celebrations at the Rosary School as usual. In her absence, Miss Williams, the Assistant Head, will be in charge and the strong staff team at the Rosary School will ensure that the supervision, education and pastoral care of pupils is not affected by this arrangement.

The Rosary School is a member of the Gloucestershire Catholic Schools Partnership and as such it is good to be able to offer support to another Catholic Primary School and strengthen the links between us.

If anyone has concerns or questions, please speak to Mrs Savory or Miss Williams in school.
