KS2 SATs results- provisional national statistics

KS2 SATs Tests 2018 results- how the Rosary School compares to other schools nationally (based on the provisional figures):

Reading  = 87% at the expected standard (75% = provisional national average for 2018)   

Maths = 91% at the expected standard  (76% = provisional national average for 2018)        

Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar = 87% at the expected standard(78% = provisional national average for 2018)   

Teacher Assessment for Writing = 91% at the expected standard(78% = provisional national average for 2018)   

Reading, Writing and Maths combined = 82% pupils at the Rosary School achieved the expected standard.

Nationally 64% of pupils reached the expected standard in all of reading, writing and maths in 2018.

To reach the expected standard in all of Reading, Writing and Maths, a pupil must achieve a scaled score of 100 or more in Reading and Maths tests and an outcome of ‘working at the expected standard’ or ‘working at greater depth’ in writing Teacher Assessment.

These results are impressive and exceed last year's, which were also excellent. 

The national figures are provisional at may change slightly after Headteachers have carried out a checking exercise.
