A Musical Visitor

On Thursday 20th September, the young cellist Griff Watkins came for his first visit to the Rosary School. Our school is one of 6 in Gloucestershire participating in the Musicate programme this year. Griff is our 'Musicat', who will be working alongside Miss Pollard and the Y1 children and Mrs Phillips and the Y4 class.

Griff spent time in Y1 and Y4, playing his cello in their music lessons and also  playing a Fanta bottle! Then he played his cello for the whole school. The children enjoyed listening to him play two very different pieces on his cello, which is over 300 years old!
